本作は面倒くさがりな独身OL・面堂露（めんどうつゆ）が、めんつゆを使用した“最強時短レシピ”を開発する物語。劇中には露のほか、几帳面で料理を手作りすることにこだわる十越いりこ、炭水化物と脂質に命を懸ける保ヶ辺勉、保ヶ辺に恋をしており無理に大食いをする恋愛依存症の白田舞といったキャラクターが登場する。。九叔师徒行医济世深夜误入黄庙村，巧遇富户黄家出殡，天相骤变大雨倾盆。师徒三人只能夜宿破庙，没想到鬼新娘竟当晚托梦寻灵位，九叔掐指一算此事必有蹊跷，在九叔师徒探查黄家命案的过程中，龅牙翠姑频频捣乱，二人斗智斗勇笑料不断，随着黄夫人的死亡真相揭开的同时，真正的较量也随之开启……。Inspired by actual California desert occult activity, MAN’s SON centers around a young couple who travel to the desert to create an authentic audition tape for an up-and-coming Charles Manson film.
