The Moliere players are in their dressing room, getting ready to go on set. One actor mentions to another that his face reminds him of an opportunist turncoat he knew when he was in the Resistance. He then relates the adventure that he had in the Resistance, running an illegal radio station and dodging the Nazis.。跟随格雷斯一家，他们搬进了祖居，揭开了关于他们的曾叔祖父的黑暗秘密，他发现了与他们平行的秘密精灵世界。。「世界名作劇場」シリーズで知られる日本アニメーションの40周年記念作品として製作された劇場版3部作の完結編。第1部「空とぶ姫と秘密の島」と第2部「魔法のランプと動く島」のダイジェスト映像に新作映像を加えて、1本の長編アニメーション映画として完成された。伝説の魔法族の姫サナと出会い、船乗りとなって魔法族の仲間を探す旅に出たシンドバッド。そんな彼らの前に、謎の敵ガリプ一味が立ちはだかる。やがてたどり着いた「真昼の夜」の中に浮かぶ「不思議の門」で、世界を変える恐るべき秘密が明らかになる。。
