阳光明媚的大阪府堺市，在业内名声不佳的古董商人小池则夫（中井贵一饰）带着女儿真里（森川葵饰）驱车穿梭在大街小巷之中。他按照命运的指点找到一户人家，与主人洽谈家藏古董的收购事宜。在一堆仿制品中，小池意外发现茶道大家千利休死前赠与他人并且在史册中没有任何记录的梦幻珍品。小池喜出望外，同时按捺激动的情绪，准备捡漏，却没曾想落入了穷困潦倒的陶艺师野田佐辅（佐佐木藏之介饰）设下的古董局。正所谓不打不相识，这两个命运有着些许相似的男人一拍即合，决定联手杜撰利休的绝命珍品大赚一笔。 他们不仅要施展自己的才华，更要向混迹古董界的蝇营狗苟之徒发起挑战……。One day, thinking that it will make your wife and friends smile, you shave off the moustache that you have had for the last ten years. Viewers who like their conclusions tidy may rebel, but those who relish outstanding performances in the service of an intriguing idea will be entertained.
