该剧是继《香蜜沉沉烬如霜》《冰糖炖雪梨》后“蜜糖三部曲”的收官之作。 根据作家一度君华的同名小说改编，讲述了人族皇室的一对孪生公主受阴谋算计，错嫁天界与沉渊界，在一次次啼笑皆非的伪装中，原本相看两厌的错嫁夫妻们，竟逐渐相识相知萌生爱意……。A documentary potted history of WW2, the novelty here is that most of the film has been "colorized".
