抗日战争时期的1941年秋，为了阻止日军对晋察冀边区进行大扫荡，八路军某部班长马宝玉和战士葛振林、宋学义、胡福才、胡德林五人接受任务登上狼牙山棋盘陀主峰。 日军以三千兵力猛攻狼牙山，五位战士不畏势单力薄，凭借居高临下的有利地形，与拥有飞机、大炮的日军展开顽强的战斗：日军连续发起三次猛烈的冲锋，均被他们击退，胜利地完成了牵制日军的任务。弹尽粮绝之时，五位战士也没放弃与日军进行搏杀，战斗到最后一刻。。改编自安妮·弗兰克和汉娜·戈斯拉尔之间真实的友谊，讲述了她们在纳粹占领的阿姆斯特丹所发生的故事以及在集中营痛苦的重逢。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
